Midrange phone with flagship specs!

I bought this to take on holiday. My S24 Ultra is too big and heavy to carry in shorts and swimming trunks.

I love the ir blaster, the 3mm head phone jack, fm radio and the fact it's got a superb Amoled screen.

Apart from night-time photography, I used the redmi for almost all my daytime pics.

It's a cracking device with expandable storage and two sim slots.

I really can recommend this phone. Excellent call quality and the battery lasts all day!

I purchased this device last year and as usual I was extra careful in keeping my mobile devices safe. I must say I am really really displeased with the quality of this device, It gave me temperature warning on a normal sunny day and stopped functioning, do mind others with much older devices did not have any issues at the same place and time. Later during a very light rain it took moisture damage and completely died on me, the funny this is it didn't even get any water on it.

I understand exposure to elements will damage devices but all through these years I have used a couple of mobile devices, motorola and honor for approx 5-6 years, never faced these issues. It is very hard and sad to spend around 18K of hard earned money for this unreliable piece of equipment. What makes this more unbearable is that the device is still covered with 1 month warranty remaining but the MI authorised service center personnal outright claimed uster damage on it, they were not even bothered to hear my side, I was asking them how water got in without getting wet but they were adamant. MI please take note your devices are of very poor quality and unreliable for Indian environments, your advertising regarding quality is misleading and incomplete. It will be better if you can give a warning like 'MOBILE WONT WORK IN SUN AND WILL TOTALLY DIE IF IT SENSES A DRIZZLE

People please avoid this brand unless you are the kind of person who lives and breathes inside AC rooms all day!!! It's a shame I don't get to put a 0 star review!!!
the middle of the middle!

Comparing mid-range phones, Xiaomi has always had a better design than Samsung. Redmi Note 11 is equipped with AMOLED 1080, which has better quality and brightness compared to LCD-TFT Samsung a22, and it can be said that the display of this phone becomes one of its strengths. In terms of performance, it has a good and acceptable performance, it is not particularly superior compared to other competitors, but the 33-watt fast charging adapter is an advantage. Redmi Note 11 does not have a good camera performance in this price range, and you can get better ones. Regarding the processing power of redmi note 11, in terms of hardware, it meets your needs and has an acceptable performance when using normal software, and finally, the stereo speaker of this phone has good sound quality. Among the weaknesses of this phone compared to competitors, we can mention the normal and not very satisfactory performance of the camera. If the image quality is very important to you, there are better offers in this price range. Among the advantages and strengths of this Redmi Note 11, you can compare the different design, good build quality, good performance AMOLED display, 33W fast charge adapter and stereo speaker. Compare with other competitors in this price range.

Good Points: Battery life will keep you going 2 days with medium use.

Very good camera that also takes great low light photos with a dedicated night mode.

6/8gb ram is plenty enough for tasks and playing games such as PUBG.

Amoled display where the refresh rate can be bumped up to 120hz.

Auto brightness works just right. Screen is never too dim nor too bright when you need it. Also, Corning gorilla glass 5.

Dual speakers with Dolby Atmos enhancer.

Can expand storage or use dual SIM.

MIUI is nice and clear.

3mm headphone jack port.

Fingerprint scanner is lightening fast.

Improvement Points: Hard to complain about anything given some of the flagship killer features it has for the price. However, 33 watt charge rate is a little slow compared to today's standards and it has a little bloatware which you can get rid of. The main issue for me is the fingerprint scanner on the right keeps getting touched when handling the phone such as getting it in and out your pocket. This sometimes uses up your fingerprint attempts and therefore you have to enter your PIN or pattern to unlock the phone. Another small issue is the phone has froze a few times, if this happens just press and hold the power key (also fingerprint scanner) and the phone will restart and work normally. I've now just gone 2 and a half days without charging and it's worked just fine.

Like I said for the price this phone is hard to beat.
